Hello everyone. It’s taken a while but the 56’s are over and done with. That’s the best Christmas present I could have hoped for.
Had the same guy as last time. Mr. Jeffries? I think that’s his name anyway. Glasses, slightly greying hair, always comments on my moles and haircuts. A few people pointed out last time that he was testing my temperament, and that’s probably true, but I’ve always been very embarrassed about my moles. Has anyone else encountered these temperament testing measures? Nobody’s perfect obviously. I’ve got very fine, very greasy hair and 3 of the examiners I’ve had have passed comment on this at appearances, and it just makes me very self conscious which adds to the nerves already there. I would put that down to my D’s, the last time especially when I was asked if I cut my own hair! Today I was asked if I wash my hair, which I was asked at the initial assessment in front of everyone!!

Even though the runs were straight forward I still managed to mess up the first one and went wide, I think the nerves got the better of me, instead of going R Hillcroome L kings lane and L Ringstead heading towards colston avenue ect for some reason I took the scenic route and went L Hillcroome and ended up going down Brighton road St Nicholas way Oak hill road went well wide. I new I went wrong but it was to late to change it
Scored C well pleased got my drop to 28 days

Just been up for my 7th 56!! That's right, 7th 56! Maybe it's me but I think it's getting harder. Either that or they don't like men with moustaches and they just enjoy seeing me suffer. Anyway...
First run was Albion Road to Cuddington Golf Course. Dropped Rachel Court & Lauren Manor? Might be Laural Manor can't remember. I knew I'd gone a bit wide but when I finished he asked me if I knew that the point of it was to go in the straightest line possible? I just said yes sir...
Then he looked at me for half a minute before asking me if I visit a barbers or cut my own hair!!!!!? I said I use a barber and he asked me which one. I said Toulahs on London road Mitcham and then he asked my next run...
Aerodrome Hotel to Motspur Park Station. Thought I did okay with that but he said I went a bit wide.
Third run was Dundonald Tram Stop to South Merton rail but not using Kingston road or cutting across it anywhere. When he said that I just couldn't think of a way around. Dropped a lot of points for hesitating...
For the fourth run he said can you take me from Windsor Avenue to The Mavis Peart Vocational Progression Unit!!! And I only remember that now finding it online! Apparently it's in Carshalton College. I said I know Windsor Avenue but not the Mavis Peart Unit. His alternative was Windsor Avenue to Culvers Avenue. I left and got to Jubilee Way and he said not that Windsor Avenue!!! I then asked if it was the one in Worcester Park then remembered that was Windsor Road. He said it was in SM3! I didn't know it so he asked me to take him from Brocks drive? Didn't know that either, so he asked me Kingston Avenue. I said yes sir. By then I'd forgotten where I was meant to be heading so he called it to an end. Asked me if I'd been abroad a lot.
Got a D! Stuck on 9 points and determined to get to my 28's. I get really nervous and drop silly points, but I do think these were quite hard..

Overton Road to the best hotel in my sector, I said Holiday Inn Sutton for some reason. It was when his lip curled & he stared at me & said is that he best hotel in your sector ?? Canizaro House Hotel came to me. So I ran that.

Got my new candidates score sheet & was only 3 points away from a B. he knocked off 6 points for hesitaion in answering.

24hour police station in Wimbledon.
Name 3 ranks in Wimbledon and 2 in Sutton.

Got a B He also talked about borough boundaries saying how you can not pick up out of them.i.e only pick up from Merton & Sutton.
